Snack time can get so out of hand that it can overtake the calories consumed during breakfast, lunch and dinner.

- Chips contain about 15 calories each and it doesn't take long to wolf down a handful.

- Candy bars contain about 200 to 300 calories

With the above in mind, reach for fresh fruit when it's time to snack.  You'll not only save fat and calories, you'll be eating a more nutritious snack.
