TIPS FOR
FEBRUARY
February is a magical month! A month
for love and cupid. A month for wild romance. A month for wine,
roses and chocolate. Ooops!
If you are like most men, you began
your diet in January. You've sailed along quite nicely, too - dropping
a few unwanted pounds and hitting the old exercise bike every day. Well....let's
amend that. At the beginning of your diet, you hit the old exercise bike
every day, but now - it's been whittled down to about once every couple of weeks.
However, you're still keeping a very watchful eye on your diet. Okay.
Let's be totally truthful. You've got one eye closed and one eye
squinted. Things are starting to suck, diet wise. And that hunk of Valentine's
Day chocolate sure looks good!
But you're NOT going to eat it. This
is what you're going to do, you manly man, you!
It's time to pamper yourself. Even
manly men need pampering, especially those on a diet. To keep you motivated,
try the following:
Let's
rub some breasts! Chicken breasts, that is! Rub a couple of breasts
briskly
with a bit of lemon pepper OR dryed rosemary. Pop onto the grill OR into the
oven until golden brown. Enjoy with a baked potato seasoned with a tab
of butter/margarine PLUS one roll or slice of bread PLUS a nice salad of lettuce,
tomatoes, sliced mushroom, grated carrot, bacon bits and 2 Tablespoons of your
favorite light salad dressing PLUS 1 cup of fresh strawberries with light whipped
topping.
Pour
yourself a tall glass of sparkling water OR diet soda and head for the bathroom.
Before you go, grab a few slices of cucumber. Once you're in the
bathroom, run the tub full of warm water and generously toss in some bubblebath
OR some bath salts. You'll want to pull out the lavender soap for a relaxing
spa.
Settle
back into the tub and place one slice of cucumber gently over each eye.
Now
relax!!
