THE EXERCISE FACTOR
Many people tend to believe that exercise is comprised of much
huffing and puffing. What a crock! Every little thing that you do
through movement translates to 'bursts of exercise'.
Any activity that
you incorporate into your daily schedule is effective in keeping your body in
a healthier stance. Simply moving makes you feel better!
YES
- our Goddess Bodies do
require aerobic exercise
to strengthen our hearts,
our muscles and our tushies.
So the more involved that
you become with say....a
15 minute brisk walk - the
stronger and more efficient
your body becomes.
Standing burns more calories than sitting, sitting burns more
calories than laying down - and so forth. However, be mindful that many
ungoddess-like men
have sown these false seeds:
"Having sex burns up a tremendous amount
of calories."
Yes, sex does burn calories, but the amount is
minimal and sex must be intense. Of course, you're a Weight Loss Goddess,
and sex is always intense, right? Right.
When Exercise Isn't So Much Fun
Unlike men, women cycle. Men can cycle, but require an
apparatus to do such.
When the Weight Loss Goddess cycles, participating
in ultra strenuous exercise will generally make her 'flow' flow more.
In fact,
many years ago, it was known as The Great Flood.
Therefore, exercising
during 'cycle time' should be done on a Goddess-to-Goddess basis.
Some claim
that it helps them conquer their period sooner while others claim that it prolongs
the cycle. So again, it's a personal call in this area.
Moderate exercise
is generally safe exercise.
Moderate Exercise Is Best
And all around, moderate exercise is much kinder on
the body than Huff-Puff Exercising. Your knees will last longer, your breasts
will be more apt to stay in one place rather than drop to your knees, your feet
will encumber fewer blisters and you'll be more apt to stick with your exercise
program.
Ten to fifteen minutes per day, walking around your block -
or at a nearby mall, or a safe park will get your blood pumping.
At home, a
few toning exercises will pull everything together so you can be all the Goddess
that you can be. Just keep in mind that even small movements
throughout your day add up to big health benefits.
