GREEN GODDESS, VEGETABLES FOR WEIGHT  LOSS

Want to increase your level of health and perhaps drop a few pounds in the process? Then you'll want to dive into a field of green vegetables and become a Green Goddess!

Green vegetables are ultra low in calories and pack a mighty punch in delivering vitamins and nutrients that your body needs in order to thrive in today's busy world, a world that's unfortunately filled with more junk than foods that contain necessary vitamins.

The areas to avoid when it comes to green vegetables appears to be dairy-related, more specifically, cheese, cream, whole milk and butter related. Another foe is of course, salad dressing. Alas, even the Green Goddess salad dressing versions.  So when reaching for the Green Goddess, be sure to reach for the lightest, healthiest variety possible!

Bovine Line:  Vegetables alone offer a burst of flavor, but many times we tend to cover up nature for a woman-made concoction.  So if you want to reap the maximum rewards from your vegetables, don't bury them in cow-related products.

Rather than douse your green beans with butter, opt for the no calorie butter sprays instead. Choose skimmed cream and milk when preparing cream sauces for your green vegetable recipes. As for cheese, opt for light cheese if possible and if not, try to use 1/2 the amount.

Generally, a lot of cheese goes a long whey.....
